Clog Lard 2026
In 2026 Clog Lard will take place April 11th. Costs for the day (including lunch, but excluding dinner) will be €30. Dinner costs around €30. We will announce a definitive cost nearer to April.
What is Clog Lard / Dutch Lardies Day?
This is the annual event where people from The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, The United States and Denmark come together in Arnhem to play TooFatLardies and Reisswitz Press games.
It's a day for everybody who plays TooFatLardies games, or wants to get to know them. You don't have to know the rules or bring miniatures. The game hosts will take care of that. That makes the game hosts the linchpin of the day. Without them there are no games. In the weeks leading up to the event all participants will be able to indicate their preferences for games to play. Of course we can only assign people who have paid.
The day takes place in the spirit of TooFatLardies: everybody is welcome, we don't play to win at any price and there is ample opportunity to get to know each other, have a chat and compliment each others miniatures and terrain.
We will be playing at ’t Huukske. The address is Mauritsstraat 22, 6812 BS Arnhem. That is next to the house where general Roy Urquhart of 1st Airborne Division hid in the night of 18 / 19th September while the Germans controlled the surrounding streets. That is a nice historical link with our wargames. We always try to put up a few games that are thematically linked to Arnhem.

If you want to host a game, let us know in advance, so we can include you in the programme. There's room for about 50 hosts and participants. When we reach that number, we will instate a reserve list.

Programme
Players are welcome from 09.00. The games begin at 09.30. We break at 12.30 for a generous lunch until 14.00. The second round of games begins then, which lasts until 17.00. If you’re signed up for the buffet, that’ll start at 18.30, again at ’t Huukske.
The final allocation of players will be revealed on the day itself.
Food and refreshments
Coffee and tea are free all day. Beer and soda are available at a reasonable price at the bar, payment exclusively via electronic means. Please do not bring your own drinks. The location is affordable because they’re also able to make some money on the bar turnover.

Getting there
The address of ’t Huukske is Mauritsstraat 22, 6812 BS Arnhem. From Arnhem Central Station, it’s about a 15 minute walk, follow the StuGs, or take the bus (Lines 51 and 352, get off at the Zwarteweg stop). If you’re coming by car, keep in mind you cannot park in the neighbourhood. The Parking Garage of Arnhem Central Station is capacious. Hoogvliet parking garage - entrance on Utrechtseweg, is only five minutes away. Both parkings offer paid parking.
